OSM data is continually improving, but it hasn’t yet reached its maximum potential for utility in many developing countries.  Our groundwork in more than 30 countries during the past year has shown a variety of issues, errors and missing data including completeness in roads and points of interest, topology, incorrect tagging, lack of attribution and more.  Focused, intensive groundwork has begun to solve these issues and elevate country data to a comprehensive, accurate and standardized level.
